In 1857, a temple of Lord Krishna, ‘Mohan Mandir’ was built in the Patti village located in the Senthal nagar Panchayat of Bareilly district.

Its foundation was laid by Mir Mohammad Zafar, the younger son of the then Nawab of Senthal, Galib Ali.

Carrying a huge historical significance, today this temple has completely demolished with only small structure left on the place.

So, in order to bring its pervious glory back and get it reconstructed, a Muslim man, Urfi Raza Zaidi who belongs to the same village is making all his efforts for its revival, presenting a big example of communal harmony.
